This was a £2million conversion of a grade two listed Georgian town house. Step through the front door and enter another world of dreams and fantasies. There are three garden apartments each with private hot tub and tasteful themes. Try the premier room and after a glass of champagne in your own Rolls Royce, relax in a leather recliner and press the remote control to open the curtain on a huge movie screen with surround sound. Enjoy popcorn from the inroom machine and take a drink from the minibar then lie back and escape to the land of your dreams. After the final curtain step out side and finish the night in your hot tub under the stars.

Our website with its virtual tours barely dose justice to the quality of the furnishings. Suffice it to say that my previous business was an eighty store chain of furniture outlets. Interiors have long been a passion of mine.
The hotel is in a quiet area of the city but only a short walk from Durhams gala theatre and night life. If you choose not to dine with us in our unique restaurant there are more than forty others to choose from within a ten minute walk. Durham is a friendly university city although Friday nights can be rather lively. One of the best old fasioned bars in England is two doors away where many a good property deal is struck on a Friday tea time. Once Will Carlings favourite haunt.
Durham is a beautiful place in all seasons with its meandering river and tranquil walks. The hotel backs onto the river and some rooms have fabulous views of the Cathedral or river.
